Blog Flog, extra brain-bleach please...
Jul. 10th, 2007 04:56 pmSome days I wonder why I bother torturing myself by looking at her blog, and then I remember the reason. The reason being to assure myself that I am indeed sane, and that if she can get published then I could get published. In any case I don't often look, but this one is a...well... see for yourselves.

Everything went wrong at the first line...
If blogger would let me title my entries this one would have been, "Had a really good Orgazmo this weekend."
That is just horrific, completely and utterly terrifying. Worst...pun...ever or perhaps the title of the worst porn ever, take your pick.
I reread the post from yesterday and gosh, it was gloomy. I am, at heart, a glass half empty kind of person.
Angst, woe. Woe, angst, can she ever tell us enough? Not to mention such a thing is all a matter of perception. A person chooses to look at the world a certain way, and so rather than being actually dark, darkity, dark she just chooses to look at things in a "dark, darkity, dark" way. However, I don't think any of us have been particularly impressed with her "darkness". LKH comes nowhere close to the spiral of darkness Stephen King has weaved in tales like Pet Semetary and 1408 (which the movie left me almost shaking afterward such was the level of creepy). So what's the score now? SK +10 LKH-500 ??
We did have some fun this weekend. Charles came over and we all watched the movie ORGAZMO.
I like how she has to capitalize the title of everything. Hasn't this woman ever heard of italics? Obviously the Laurita only ever has one thing in mind. So focused is she on that one thing that terms like plot, character development, and editing have completely lost their meaning and consequently are totally lost on her.
How to describe this movie without giving away the plot?
Uhm...hello? *points to title* Gee, I wonder, I really, really wonder what the plot just might be about. Any guesses folks?
It is one of the least politically correct movies I've ever watched and damn near every minute of it is funny.
*GASP* The dark, darkity, dark one laughs? Amazing! On another note, with a title like Orgazmo did you expect it to be politically correct?
Let me just be clear it is sooooo not Trinity safe. It is also soooo not for any friends that are easily offended.
She's just on top of those startling realizations. I mean I know I would show that film to my kids in a heartbeat! (If I had any that is.) And who knows, maybe I'd show it to my pastor too! Heck, two birds with one stone we'll just show it to the Sunday school kids and call it a day.
It just makes me want to find a wall to beat my head against *shakes head*.

Date: 2007-07-10 10:05 pm (UTC)...I hope to the gods of literature that she's not considering using this movie as "research" and suddenly Anita will be able to incapacitate people with orgasms (like she doesn't already?) until she comes across a villain that's been castrated and is therefore immune to her sexy powers?! *flails* BRAINBLEACH NOW, KPLZTHX.

I hope she realises Orgazmo was meant to be satire.

Date: 2007-07-11 12:28 am (UTC)1) Orgazmo is a hysterical little parody. Some friends made me watch it and it was actually a blast.
2) By the same creepy scale, I'd put HPL at about +20. King doesn't do anything for me.

Date: 2007-07-13 05:25 pm (UTC)Well, gee, who would expect an NC-17 movie to be safe for kids? Apparently, Laurita needs to actually see the movie before arriving at that conclusion.
