LKH in italics, me in normal.
Checked the time, gotta run. That whole parenting thing interrupting again.
Oh. My goodness. Even if she's joking, it's not a very funny joke, is it? I hope to God that Trinity never, ever sees her mother's blog.
We love the kid, but weekends never did mean time off for me. I wouldn't want it any other way, but it is hard to juggle it all.
"We love the kid, but..." does not bode well. And I have a hard, hard time believing that she's this busy all the time. I'm wondering if she tries to make herself sound busy so she in turn sounds interesting. It doesn't work. And is it just me or does the "I wouldn't want it any other way" seem a bit...fake? I might be reading into it too much
And see, a girl or guy, Friday wouldn't help me today, because they'd have the weekends off. See, see, it wouldn't work.
Maybe it's because I didn't bother reading anything before this particular paragraph (booooring), but I completely do not get these two sentences. At all. I think she's talking about getting a new assistant? Maybe? I'm not entirely sure.
Ah, yes. Forced myself to read up a bit, and she's talking about getting a private, personal secretary. Even though she wouldn't like it. *gags*
Also, one last thing. LKH actually successfully (more or less) used the word "oscillating!" Though I have a feeling she used the Thesaurus.
