The thing that drives me crazy about this series (besides the bad prose) is that LKH doesn't have a clue what she's writing. Anita has basically evolved into the Godfather of the preternatural community and SHE DOESN'T REALIZE IT. I mean how great would this series be if she just admitted that Anita was a mobster.
