I don't know how many of you have already heard of Diana Gabaldon (as she writes a bit outside of the genre .. but then it is an ongoing joke that she has every genre in her series.
Her books feature time traveling and also a good deal of sex, so that may be of interrest to you ;)

Since a few weeks she also has a blog Voyages of the Artemis (or [livejournal.com profile] dianagabaldon for the LJ Feed) and I think many of you could enjoy that to balance out some of the LKH stuff, as Diana has already some very funny and witty posts about writing sex and reseach in general up.
(She is also currently in search of the perfect naked male butt to visualize her male protagonist abd likes to share her findings ;) )

Wow, this is like stepping through some kind of warp. Her and LKH seem to share some similarities but this woman is so smart and articulate and not CRAZY

Funny thing is Diana in her article on the Art of Sex - Part 2 references a part of LKH's Incubus Dreams as a positive example to illustrate a particular writing technique. Go figure.
