An issue has been lurking at the back of my head for a tiny while now. For all her blogging, I wonder how LKH posts.

I know there's an lj client that I could post from, instead I choose to post directly from the http addy.

What's been bothering me is that in most of the computers that I've seen lately, they spell check things automatically through the browser (be it firefox or explorer). If she types it up in word and uploads it that way...there's spell check also.

So...how freaken difficult would it be to spell check?!

edit: While freaken does come up on the spell check for me, it's typed dialectally based on where I live so I usually leave it that way. However I was referring to other commonplace words such as scientists (like in the latest blog).

I am amused by the last line...

One hopes it was intentional... lol

I can't imagine. I'd say that maybe she was posting through e-mail, but even that has spell-check.

I think it depends on what she uses as her blog software -- I used to have Greymatter, which you could ONLY update online. I know Moveable Type is really big among bloggers, and... um, shit, I can't think of some of the other ones, but my understanding (which is limited) is that you have to do them online.

tl;dr version: there is no excuse. Even most clients have spellcheck now.

Maybe, despite the whole dyslexia thing, she thinks that because she's a 'writer' and because it's only a blog, she doesn't need spell check like us mere mortals?

But her books aren't "only" novels and they're just as error-filled. :(

LKH is just so awesome, that it is impossible for her to use improper spelling and grammar. Instead, it is her spellcheck that is broken, and she must suffer through it like the speshul snowflake that she is.

The glow of awesomeness that surrounds her makes it hard to see the monitor clearly. That's why she can't spell, see....

Well, I suppose that would be a problem if the sun shone out of your ass, too.

Maybe that's why she has trouble driving as well. The magnificent burning light of her 'muse' shining out of her ass causes a glare on the windshield.

"What light at yonder window breaks? It is the east! And Laurell's ass is the sun!"

Not the sun, she swallows the moon, remember?
The evil blonde sun would mar the alabaster perfection of her snow-white skin!

Goodness gracious. What end does she type with, if her *ahem* rectal condition is such?

Maybe she's typing with her toes. That's two reasons in one to explain the terrible typing.

I prefer to think the Doom Crotch is both ambidextrous and multifunctional....
