No higher praise
Feb. 19th, 2012 04:37 pmNothing major, just a funny moment I thought that I'd share. I'm reading The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman right now, and on the back there are recommendations from other authors. One of them is from LKH, and it says:
"After finishing The Graveyard Book, I had only one thought-- I hope there's more. I want to see more of the adventures of Nobody Owens, and there is no higher praise for a book."
Yup. No higher praise than LKH liking it.
I'm sure actually it's just bad phrasing and she meant that the highest praise a book can get is readers wanting more, but the way it read gave me a giggle and I thought I'd pass it on ;)
