My real impression is that she's going to be embarrassed as hell that she told everyone this much about herself when she rereads this in about five years' time.
And that all the other authors are going to sit way, way far away from her during lunch at the next writers' convention she attends.
I mean, the essay makes sense as far as warning people about the dangers of sexuality, and letting other people control it. But context is everything, no?
