If I remember, she blogged about it back when she was writing Micah because she felt that it was too long to be a novella, but to short to be a novel - so it was a novel-lite.
Never mind the fact that Micah turned out to be about 40 pages longer than Guilty Pleasures, even with the awful layout.
So, Micah was dubbed the novel-lite and it's unfortunately stuck.
