I believe that there was a book with weretigers in Vegas that came out not too long before Skin Trade [and its weretigers in Vegas] came out.
I never see her reccing other authors/books which other authors do in their blogs. Considering her personality, I don't think Laurell K. Hamilton thinks any series is worthy of recommendation unless it's written by Laurell K. Hamilton.
