We have at least one more chapter, maybe two, before we'll have our next victim, and a fresh crime scene for Anita to see.
Why? Why not do it now? I have the fear that in the next chapter (maybe two) there will be porn, and that once again plot will get put on hold until it's over (with some masively vile gushing orgasm as per the norm).
