Okay, so here's the thing. This question woke me up at 5am. Either that, or the two cats fornicating outside my bedroom window. Anyhow.
Why the hell was Anita relying on a hormonal birth control?
LKH makes it such a big deal to constantly inform us that Anita is becoming more and more like a lycanthrope (and a vampire, and the UBERPOWERFUL NECROMANCER OF DOOM oh my!), and explained in previous books that shapeshifters can't use normal medicines because their bodies burn them off too quicky. -scratches head.- Soooooo, by that same logic, wouldn't that make hormonal BC (the pill) ineffective?
Consistancy woman. Please. -cries a little.-
Edited to Add: It was a cry for help for consistancy. I know that she can't keep her sh*t straight. It was clearly evidenced in her first three chapters of Danse Macabre (and the hilarious flogging it endured on here!) Unfortunately, I have fallen victim to her books, and will unfortunately see this whole mess through. :D
