The edits for MISTRAL'S KISS are off to New York.

How can a single sentence fill me with so much dread?

I could read from MISTAL'S KISS, but let's just say that the book hits the bedroom, not so figuratively speaking, very quickly.

And this makes it different from the last Merry books ... how?

I try not to read sex scenes at public events. Both for my comfort level and the comfort level of the audience. We'll see what I have in my goodie bag when I get there tonight.

Then what, precisely, does she read? I was thinking, "Wow, how did she manage to read all of Micah at one event?" and then realised, "Hey, it's basically a paragraph if you omit the awful awful awful screamsex."

THERE IS NOTHING IN THE GOODIE BAG, LAURELL, IT'S ALL JUST SEX.

I can't imagine that she'd actually keep something like a disgustingly long and pointless sex scene from reading the book in public......

Though i wish she would.
