Found these rough sketches of the characters from the Guilty Pleasures comic book.
You have to scroll down a bit but it's there. I didn't know how to link to a specific part of the page.

I expected Willy to look greasier, somehow.

NO!! No, no, no, no, no!!

Louie and Edward DO NOT look like that!

Maybe I just hold true to how I picture them but... I don't ever remember either character being said to look like that.

Am I on crack, or does Edward have a totally John Constantine vibe in that pic?

I always thought of Edward as being a little less rough around the edges--it's part of his charm, how overtly smooth that he is.

The art style is pretty damn spiffy. Though I imagined Rafael to be a bit older looking than that. He looks really young.

And the shot of anita makes me pine for the older books. With plot.. and her being dark and gritty and not bitching about not being a Nordic queen.

Am I the only one confused by the presence of Relena Peacecraft? (http://www.comicscontinuum.com/stories/0603/02/catherine.htm)

Holy crap it IS Relena Peacecraft!

I always imagined Catherine to have frizzy, curly, red hair... that looks nothing like 'my' Catherine.

I'm 99% sure she was indeed described as having red (or at least reddish) curly hair that was somewhat frizzy.

Fantastic. Now I'm imagining Heero and Edward arguing over who gets to shoot her first. :D

Amen to that. Rest in peace, Phillip.

Ah, generic Michael Turner style.

Comment on the commentary

The commentary was scary. "Hamilton is one of the most popular authors on the planet," and "her latest books in the Anita Blake series have been smash hit successes." [shudder] I somehow doubt you're going to be able to do the latest books in comic book form, Mr. Dabel.

I cling to the thought that, though LKH is “consistently ranked as one of the top-selling writers on Amazon,” the rating for Danse Macabre on Amazon hasn't gotten above two and half stars. And if you count all the reviews that say, "I'm giving this one star because the drop down menu wouldn't let me give less," it’s actually much lower.

For all those who like to click, this should take you to the Amazon page (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0425207978/sr=8-1/qid=1152609135/ref=pd_bbs_1/104-4507791-1356731?ie=UTF8). I'm going to kill some morning downtime laughing at reviews.

Oh God, I'm reading the reviews! They're great!

And one that cracked me up is that one reviewer mentioned a vampire named Merlin. MERLIN! I don't believe it! LKH stole from the Arthurian legends! Has this woman no shame? (No wait, scratch that. This is LKH we're talking about. Never mind. She doesn't know the meaning of the word shame or the concept of humility.)

*dies laughing*

That's just...that's just priceless!

I can't WAIT until we get to hear about him in Draco's snarked summary. That should be a laugh riot.

Could someone explain Philip's anatomy? I just.... It's weird. He looks like a Thundercat. I might be having a slight crush on Ronnie, though. :) Although Rafael is so not that guy! I sort of like Edward. *hides*

Some of them I like, but some of them are just GODAWFUL, proportions-wise. I mean, Jesus, legs are not supposed to be that long.

Gee, Anita is pretty. *snorts* In a very leggy, perky breasted, and all-around bodacious sort of way.

My only thought is, what happens when they get to Narcissus in Chains? Or even to Blue Moon?
