I was just ranting and bitching about how much of an asshat George Lucas has become and a horrifying thought occurred to me.

How frightening would it be if LKH was allowed to go back and change her earlier books to match the pornorific style of her newer stuff?

Truly the mind boggles.

LKH, though... yeah, now that the comics have come out, I'm sure she's going to be into everything. Soundtracks. Manga. Movies/TV. The multiple covers of the comics are bad enough.

I think the japanese are smart enough to stay clear of Anita Blake. Hentai doesn't really involve male harems as far as I know.

And we shouldn't even think about movies/TV series, as it might attrack bad luck. I can see the TV series now... will Nathaniel choose the pink apron? Will Micah be run over by a bus? Will Anita accept the 100000 representatives of all the weres-species in the world as 'food'? Will JC finally run off with Asher? Will Belle-Morte ever get out of her room? Tune in, next sunday for another exciting episode, of Anita Blake, vampire hunter... the series where you will NOT see any actual vampire hunting; but a lot of vampire/werewolf/wereleopard/werelion/[insert random creature] shagging.

About the Hentai... ditto. Japanese are the masters of animated porn. Hamilton could learn oh-so-much from them. And they actually draw hot gay porn. Oh yes.

I've never seen any ego issues with Whedon, then again, I only pay attention to his art (which doesn't dissapointment me).

As for LKH, she's a whore and will milk this series for all it's worth.

That would be beyond tragic. The original books were actually FUN. I wouldn't be hating her new stuff this way if at one time, I'd not been a FAN of her better work. A BIG fan.
