This is a bit random, but I could have sworn that I ran across a reference on LKH's blog to people under size six not being real people. I thought I saved the link somewhere, but now I can't seem to find it, and I hoped someone here might be able to point the way to the entry I'm thinking of?

Thanks so much!

I'd be interested in the same quote...and the year it was made in since a 'Size 6' in the early 90's is much smaller than a Size 6 of today.

I'm sure she's also said the same thing a few times in the AB:VH books, but no idea which ones.

WTF! And if they gain ten pounds and start wearing an 8, they magically become real?

I'm a fat chick and I still think that's nasty.

I can fit a size 4 as well as a 6 . . . does that make me partially fake?

We're both half-faux women. Damn our waistlines.

OH HI DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE HERE.

I'm a heavy woman and that's horrific.

It's from Obsidian Butterfly, although I can't give the page number or chapter. I do remember Anita's quote, "Anything under a size five isn't a woman; it's a boy with breasts."

Which, you know, as a size three? PISSES ME RIGHT OFF.

The Google tells me it's from Obsidian Butterfly, but I'm sure she's also said it in the blog, because as with all her other insecurities, she just can't stop wangsting about them.

peruse back through lashout's blogflogs, I want to say it was last summer when she ragged over the more petite... back when she was on her dieting and exercise kick, possibly around the time she took up archery *eye twitches*? a little before?

*so says some one who is not "real", has never been "real", and has curves and enviable tits and ass that are strictly imaginary*

I'll say. I am quite curvy enough but I am also very short, so I can use size 4s. I doubt anyone would ever mistake me for a boy (I think). Or all the guys who ever looked my way are gay. Hmmm, that might be it... NOT. :p

LKH has made an art out of insulting people. And for someone who claims to be open-minded, she really thinks too much like an old prejudiced housewife. :p

I hate how she seems to think that woman are supposed to be these curvy, 5' girls in order to be real. There isn't some ideal female form. They come in all shapes and sizes.

I hate how she seems to think that females should all be short. Just like her. Because she is the One True Woman.

Actually, I was under the impression that the ideal woman in modern society was tall, lean and not very curvy (in short, a model). At least that is what teen magazines say you should be. All those teenagers trying to be slim, seem to confirm this theory. What is wrong, is having an ideal woman at all, because, as you said, women come in all shapes and sizes. ^___^

LKH just says that because she secretly wants to be tall and lean and especially thin, I am sure. Instead she is short, curvy and a bit overweight. She doesn't feel good about herself (as we know already), so she says those things (pardon, she makes AB say them). She's just insecure.

Jeesh, what a bitchy thing to say. Add weight and size issues to the long list. By her writing though, it's not really that surprising. This is the same woman who had her precouis Anita get bitchy when her harem insisted that she start eating more reguraly so that she wouldn't drain Damiem to death. I mean, how hard is it to carry a powerbar around in your pocket?! A few extra pounds be damned! A life was in her hands!

Oh, but it's just Damian, so who cares? I mean, he wasn't even hawt enough until her magic WonderShag made him stunningly gorgeous. But if she can't even have sex, which is exercise, to keep him from dying, you think she's going to risk getting fat just to keep him among the living? Ha!

(Sorry for the excess of sarcasm, but Anita's treatment of Damian is a special pet peeve of mine. After a millenium of torment, Jean-Claude rescues him for THIS?)

So I am not a real person, eh? Figures. I wear size 4 usually, but sometimes, depending on the cut, I can wear size 6 (possibly that makes me a real person only... twice a week?). Guess I should sue my parents for their genetics... :p

That's the stupidest thing I've ever read. Really.
