What?! No! Last I heard (read) was that she hadn't gotten to him YET. How dare she push him out of another book?!
*relishes thought of Edward deciding to go after his author for pushing him out*

Yes I read it and I was disturbed. She buys things for her characters? As gifts not for research? WTF?!?
Can some one please tell me the age, when children are supposed to know the differences between the real world and imaginary friends? I think, there went something wrong with a certain person.

Isn't this supposed to be a *different* book than Incubus Dreams? Cause it sounds like the same exact book.... *rolls eyes*

First of all, ew. I really didn't need to know LKH's views on real and fictional sex. The fact that she doesn't know how to write it is enough for me to draw my own conclusions, k tnx.

And she's buying things for her characters... Her very fictional characters. I wonder if she has a shrine box where she keeps the things she buys. Does she use them? Is that MarySueism?

To think I feel bad addressing her in a comment she won't read.

So when you're not feeling up for writing sex? DON'T! It's that simple. Just say Anita had sex and leave it at that. Trust me, no one will feel bad about it. It's not a cop out. Think of it as a fade-out. *sigh*

And woman, please, for the love of God, learn how to spell ardeur. It's your effing invention. And it's triumvirate. Latin triumviratus. Verus would mean 'true'.

Also, the 'smile' you're seeing on Nathaniel's face when you imagine giving him gifts? It's a grimace of confusion and a plea for freedom. Do try to keep up.

Requiem is yet another vampire with super-sekkrit Sex Fu skillz? I'd weep, but I'm too tired of your bullshit.

I've said it before (and I'm not the only one, by any means *g*), and I'll say it again: she's giving writers -- fantasy writers in particular -- a bad name.

It's bad enough that she's so wrapped up in identifying herself with Anita that she's actually confused herself with the character. (And the fact that she actually came out and admitted it in a very public forum only makes it so much worse.)

But if she's starting to buy things for people who don't exist, then it is becoming a major problem. I mean, I'm on board with seeing something a particular character might like and having one of the other characters give it to him/her. But what's the point of actually going out and buying it yourself? I mean, it's not like you're ever going to be able to give it to them, and it just ends up being further proof that you've isolated yourself from the real world so much that you're becoming unable to tell the difference between fantasy and reality anymore.

Honestly, if I ever started to do bizarre sh*t like that, I'd like to think that my friends and family would slap me upside the head and drag me off for some serious counselling.

Earth to LKH, it's not cute when you talk about your characters like actual people anymore -- it's just creepy. [/rant] ;)

*HEAD DESK!*

Too...ok, Laurel..let's contemplate the nature of real physics for a moment: Energy can neither be created, nor destroyed. If you're already linked to (X) juicy buggers, then why isn't that feeding the all consuming slutmonster of doom adequately? Hmmm? Excuses, excuses...
