Little bitty jogging shorts?
Man thongs?
LEATHER man thongs?
Man thong BATHING SUITS? Really?

I'm becoming more and more convinced she is a straight man trapped in a woman's body.

I saw this horribly hilarious music video from the 80's the other day, and I thought it was funny that the hunk in the video was the guy wearing the leopard-print speedo at the pool. And yes, I thought of LKH's fashion sense and how that would be sooo hot. *eye roll*

Actually, I've known a couple-three guys who have looked good with long hair, but I've also known a few who look good with a shaved head, so it really depends on the person.

Then there's this T-shirt picture (http://blog.laurellkhamilton.org/images/img_5645.jpg) of, according to LKH, Edward, Anita, Jean-Claude and Zerbrowski at a comic book convention. Anita has been painted into her clothes and has a T-shirt proclaiming her to be a federal marshall, which I'm sure no one who was looking at her would believe; Jean-Claude has overpermed hair as well as a frilly white woman's blouse that I last saw in my closet around 1982, and both the hair and the blouse make him look like his name should be Jeanne-Claudette; Zerbrowski seems to be wearing a short-sleeved tie-dyed garment that's a cross between a kimono and a Nehru jacket; and Edward is all dressed in black and keeping his face averted, as if to say, "I'm not with these people. Really. I've never seen them before in my LIFE."

... with the possible exception of LOTR movies. THAT long hair on real dudes looked pretty good, but then it wasn't weird colors and flowing down to their ankles. I'm surprised LKH hasn't rhapsodized about the long flowing hair of the pretty elf males in that movie.

But then, that would be way to intelligent for her. I was actually kind of hoping the person on the left of that macro was Maedhros or someone, but no luck.

Aww, but I have to say I like long hair on men; I'm a sucker for it. I think it's sexy. But of course the hair has to be brushed, washed, and not smell like rat's ass. I wish I could honestly laugh at that pic. :/ I know you just mean to poke fun at LKH's idiotic obsession with stupid beautiful long-haired men, and not just long-haired men in general. After all, not all guys with long hair are back country slack-jawed mullet-heads. ;P

these are all fashion horrors that appeared in the books. The Little bitty jogging shorts are from the first chapter of Blood Noir that was posted on LKH's website, the black mesh tank top was worn by Zachary in Guilty Pleasures, man thongs were worn by various men in various books. There were bigger offendors in the books but I'm too lazy to find them.

I actually think that in general, long hair looks better on men than women. I think more women should have short hair, and more men should have long hair. A lot of times long hair on women completely hides their face shape, and you can only see your hair, not them. While men tend to have more angular faces, which can be very nicely framed by long hair. I think a lot of women feel like it is necessary to have long hair because it defines femininity for them, when they would really look better with much shorter hair. Just my opinion though.

I absolutely DROOL over guys with long hair. I understand LKH's obsession in that respect. Though knee length? Ankle length? Umm. I don't think much of anyone looks good with hair that long. And it would be a BITCH to maintain.
But then again, I don't let my hair get longer than chin length.

I actually love long hair in general. It's got to be nice, thick, silky and pretty, though, and it does help if it comes on a good looking male. Even exceptionally long hair, but again, it's got to look good on the particular guy, unless it's THAT fabulous. Then, maybe it's his good feature.

The rest of her fashion sense (barring a bit of the 17th century stuff), and to a large degree, however, what she thinks is a pretty male? Err...not.

I second the long hair on boys, but as for little bitty jogging shorts, they were only ever adorable in Juno.
