Title: Betrayal from Within

 

Synopsis:

 

A subversive group of democracy seeking weres, vampires and fight to rescue the paranormal community from the grip of Anita Blake “Godmother of the Paranormal Community,” Jean Claude and the Furry Coalition.

Characters:

“The Good” Richard: a torn man who is madly in love with Anita Blake but puts his belief in democracy and the fight for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for all people above his hope of personal happiness founded MOM-the Monsters of Missouri. He acts as a double agent-secretly gathering information and then bringing it back to the MOM to use as counter measures. He’s part of Anita’s triad and the Ulfric of the wolf pack. They should be under his to protect, but the Furry Coalition has laid claim to the pack and members have been told that failure to pay tribute will result in certain death.

Gretchen: Slightly insane from spending three years in a cross draped coffin she’s dedicated her life to freeing every vampire in Jean Claude’s kiss. 

Joseph: The former Rex of the lion pride, now a refugee fighting to gain back what was once his. 

The Regina: (Gina) Mated to Joseph. Since Haven’s takeover of the St. Louis she’s been worshipping Hera and learning witch craft. 

“The Bad” 

Anita Blake: Once she protected humans against the paranormal. Now, under a curse called the ardeur, she’s become the “Godmother” of the St. Louis paranormal community. She runs the paranormal underworld with an iron vagina and demands sex and tribute from every male vampire and were she meets. 

Jean Claude: Master of the City. Owns the majority of the underworld businesses in St. Louis and part of Anita’s triad. He is the one who infected Anita with the ardeur. But did he do it deliberately? And what now that she’s become too powerful to control. 

Micah: Titular head of the Furry Coalition and completely submissive to Anita. 

Haven: aka the Cookie Monster. New alpha of the lion’s pack and Anita’s chief enforcer. 

“The Undeclared” 

Edward: A hired gun. Anita considers Edward her soul mate. Richard has hired Edward to help free St. Louis from The Furry Coalition. Will be betray Anita or Richard?

Asher: In love with Jean Claude and desperate to rekindle their relationship he came to St. Louis at the bidding of the mysterious vampire council. Although he seems to be on Anita’s side, his end goal has always been to have Jean Claude for himself. Would he side with MOM? 

Jason: Once Richard’s wolf, he is now infatuated with Anita. Will he be able to see past the emotionless sex and realize what she’s become?  

Note: additional characters such as Nathanial, Requiem, London and Clay will have roles as drive by sex partners.

The First Season: Killing Anita or Jean Claude  will lead to Richard’s certain death so the members of MOM have focused on trying to reclaim the St. Louis wolf and lion’s pack.

Only the synopsis seems to be under the lj cut. the < /lj-cut > tag should be at the end of the post... erm... assuming that's where you want it??? O___O

Btw, love your idea. Apocalyptic St Louis and Anita as the bad guy! Mwahahahaha! But I think there should be more good guys... like, perhaps the Raphael and Dead Dave. Oh and Dolph. *grins*

That's pretty awesome. In the case of "undeclared" characters, I don't think it should come down to choosing either MOM's side or Anita's side though. It would be nice to have agents who act in their own interests or in tangentially related interests, and who are truly neutral.

Thanks-I had problems trying to figure out what I'd call the characters with conflicting interests. Neutral would have been a good word.
