Living with Anita?

LKH's Bullet began with promise. A contract on Jean-Claude, Anita and Richard. An attempt on Richard's life. And then the plot slid into a meandering mire. The last third of the novel bored me.

I was turning pages, thinking, "Yeah, so Anita had sex with this one, then that one, then this one." Yawn. It felt stale.

The fantasy world LKH created holds attraction. The imagination can play with its concept. Jean-Claude teases private fantasy. But Anita is increasingly annoying.

Imagine living with Anita Blake.

But I do have a katana.

Synopsis of Bullet

It opens up with Anita going to a kid's school recital where the strippers from Guilty Pleasures were invited to do dance performances with the seniors. Richard comes back to Circcus of the damned after therapy willing to have sex with Asher. Theres some S&M, not sure if he actually has sex with Asher (i've seen it argued on here before) because it's vague sometimes, other times Anita is describing her own sex in the same room so I dont know whats going on behind her and I also rush past de sex scenes when they start to bore me. You have to understand theres about four chapters of them having sex so i get bored.
Mommie dearest comes back from de dead during sex, wants to kill them, some council members are on her side, anita and de guys save Belle Morte from mommie Dearest by having sex, and de bad council members hire assasins. Bibiana calls Anita because she felt mommie dearest and wants her to take in her rainbow colored weretigers that will give her element bending powers.
Anita fights with Haven because he wanted her to himself and finally kills him because he tried to kill Nathaniel. Richard almost gets killed by assassins but Anita saves him by sucking life out of two lycanthropes with her necromancy and then putting it back. Anita watches two crime videos on a computer and Iphone and solves the crime over the phone.
Anita proves that she is stronger than some guy at the gym. A guy from the Harlequin asks Anita to see his gold weretigers before she sees Bibiana's. Anita has sex with one of them and everyone pulls up a chair to watch then Micah and one of de guys join in (i think nathaniel but im not sure). The other weretigers show up and Anita hooks up with a few of them.

I think dat sums it up.
