I posted this yesterday and got a message from the moderator that I failed to measure up to LJ standards since I provided no commentary or context for it.  And here I was trying not to influence anyone; I thought as it's a book chapter you would just read it and form your own opinions.  Well, after over twenty comments and replies it got deleted.  So let's try this again, shall we?

There are rules for posting to the comm; one of them is that you don't just post links to things.

You don't have to write an essay by any means, but aim for more than 5 or 6 lines- and that's lines of content, not filler. Outside links must be explained, rants must have content, and posts just made to state a single line of disgust will be deleted. You can rant like that on your journal, but we are here for discussion and you must at least appear to have something interesting to say.

Moderators are there to make sure the rules get followed. Being snide about them is completely uncalled for.

So you got called out for not following the rules and you decided to react by posting again still not following the rules and bitching about the mod? Wow.

Read the rules before/when you join a comm. If you don't like them, then don't join that comm. It's not difficult.

Drama posts like this will get you banned from almost any comm on LJ and most of the rest only don't ban people who do it because they want the fun of laughing at them.

I know you're not new to LJ, but seriously...it's not that hard to edit a post. You've had ample amount of time to do so. I got up today to find that nope, the post remained unchanged even after I put in the mod request. So, as per comm rules the post was deleted.

If you have a problem with that, feel free to PM me and we can sort things out. What you don't do: bitch about it in the mod's own comm. You've been on notice since your meltdown over flogs, so you may want to give some thought before you next hit post.
