My god I had to filter that tag out of my search field last night because of all the tweets/retweets. I don't need 30+ messages of the same thing popping up every five minutes. /o\

I really hate the "Great quotes & glad so many of you get it, though some have found new lessons & thats cool, too. :-)" (http://twitter.com/#!/LKHamilton/status/115613086483886080) from LKH, because...well, this just highlights that we really aren't reading the same thing. O___o

It genuinely freaks me out how so many people say that they are taking lessons about gun safety, survival, and how to win fights from AB. There are a LOT of fantasists out there...


Also, the fact that people seem to be taking relationship pointers from the books is terrifying, too.

There are some saying that AB has taught them how to be sex-positive - I find this ridiculous when you consider how sex is almost never treated positively and healthily in theh books.

I was wondering that too!! I watched the feed, mostly bemused by the authorwank but when that one came up I just started laughing. Maybe she meant love is expressed differently by everyone..?

To be fair, "Don't point the gun unless you're willing to use it" IS actually good advice and basic gun training. Though I learned it as "don't point the gun at anything you're not willing to destroy." You know, what with the always-treat-guns-as-loaded thing and all.
