Hello, new member here. I recently got myself roped into LKH by reading The Harlequin. I wrote a book review about on my own journal and needless to say was curious for more. That book was probably one of the most explicit mainstream porn books I have ever read. LOL! I mean I was just so fasicinated that she would spend so much time on sex.

So I started to read the books from the very beginning and I have to say that while Anita is one MAJOR bitch with mental problems and issues, the books were still good to read.

So anyway, I have to ask you follower snarkers: When was the moment the series Jumping The Shark?

BTW, was I the only one who kinda got the feeling that the author was trying to set the scene for Anita sleeping with Edward's adopted son?

I agree. OB pissed me off, mainly for the complete character shredding of Edward. Plus the end, with the vampire who was a god, but not really but maybe he was a god, but omg he wasn't! WHAT?!

And as to the OP's question, I think Blue Moon was when it started going downhill. The whole Freja rape scene, and Anita healing... I think it was Nathanial with Raina's sex-fu really annoyed me.

OMG, so true! When did Edward decide that it would be a 'good idea' to hook up with someone with kids, when he told her long, long ago that 'normal lives' aren't for them?! Guh! And not only was HE a 'god' but so was Obsidian. So, obviously, New Mexico breeds the crazy.

And yeah, Blue Moon was cracked, as was Burnt Offerings. I mean, she 'tamed' Asher by being willing to have sex with him. And her and Richard beat the Beast Master by touch and sex. *shakes head* If all governments were as pansy as that one is...
