Really not, though. I'd rather Anita had a Wicked/Truth/Requiem/Byron fivesome than put up with another five chapters of, "We argue, argue argue argue, he takes his shirt off, suddenly I just can't think coherently, we fuck, I'm rehashing our past relationship during the fucking, then at the end we snuggle, and within 15 minutes we're arguing and declaring undying hatred again".
The Anita of Guilty Pleasures would've just walked away. I hope.

Lord in heaven...God has to be a masochist because if he weren't he wouldn't even imagine letting her write stuff like that. Her stories only move around the sex, now, and god help the rest of the scenes if they get in the way *laughs* I'm just hoping that Richard, one day, snaps out of his angst and just guts anita, gets it over with, and moves on to his white picket fence, if he survives her deaths, the marks being there and all LOL. Yeah, i can see lots of reasons for richard to gut anita...LOL and I wasnt even a huge fan of the character!
God help us all, at least with the Merry books she never even tried to say there was a plot outside of sex. She should just do the same wtih Anita..."Necromancer with weak morals and an endless need for sex makes every preter. man in the saint louis area fall for her magical cooch and angsty, girl next door charm and beauty. Enough
Another day almost lost to tour stuff, publicity, and calls to New York. I guess I should know better than to still be trying to write on the next book with tour this close. It's usually a lesson in frustration. Sigh. Still haven't gotten to have sex with Richard. Hell, still haven't advanced the plot to the next scene. We have that scene to get through before we can have sex, or maybe we should just skip that scene and reverse the scene with Richard and the talking scene. We need both, but maybe I can switch the order. Unsure. I'll look at it tomorrow. I'm tired, hungry, vaguely nauseas, and Jon's just informed me that dinner is almost ready. so enough for today. Enough. I'm outta here.
