Blog flog!
Just ... so much WRONG ... my brain bleeds. BLEEDS I tell you.
Sigh. Still haven't gotten to have sex with Richard.
Well, at least there's one reality / fiction line standing strong.
Hell, still haven't advanced the plot to the next scene.
Laurell, hon, we covered this. NO PLOT. NOTHING IN THE GOODIE BAG. NO "ADVANCEMENT".
We have that scene to get through before we can have sex,
Life is so haaaaaaaaaaaard sometimes, and almost NEVER wet and tight. How does a published author cope?
or maybe we should just skip that scene and reverse the scene with Richard and the talking scene.
Yes, angst!sex with Richard sounds so much more tempting to write than anything involving THOUGHT.
We need both, but maybe I can switch the order.
I think we all know where this is going: The talk-scene will be dropped to make way for more sex. I thank God I'm a masochist, I don't know how you normal people are coping with this.

Date: 2006-06-14 02:23 am (UTC)Well, at least there's one bullet dodged...for now. Yay! No Richard sex!
*is relieved*
But, knowing Laurell, she'll figure out something.
Soon, we'll get to see more (very) badly-written Richard and Anita sex.
*less than enthused and deadpan* Yay. -___-
Richard needs to be put down. Someone, please, just do it, for the love of all this is good an holy. Put a silver bullet in his brain. It would be a mercy on him if it would get him away from evil the TurboSlut.
Hell, anything would.

Date: 2006-06-14 02:33 am (UTC)guess i wasn't paying much attention in the last book. I seriously think she should just dump Richard. They've argued too much and there is too much pain between them.
Of course that's too much logic for her.

Date: 2006-06-14 03:33 am (UTC)God help us all, at least with the Merry books she never even tried to say there was a plot outside of sex. She should just do the same wtih Anita..."Necromancer with weak morals and an endless need for sex makes every preter. man in the saint louis area fall for her magical cooch and angsty, girl next door charm and beauty. Only those who are willing to stay chaste to her and turn a blind eye to her own activites need apply."
ok,I'm done now. sorry for the poor writing and lack of punctuation/capitals...eep, sorry.

Enough
Another day almost lost to tour stuff, publicity, and calls to New York. I guess I should know better than to still be trying to write on the next book with tour this close. It's usually a lesson in frustration. Sigh. Still haven't gotten to have sex with Richard. Hell, still haven't advanced the plot to the next scene. We have that scene to get through before we can have sex, or maybe we should just skip that scene and reverse the scene with Richard and the talking scene. We need both, but maybe I can switch the order. Unsure. I'll look at it tomorrow. I'm tired, hungry, vaguely nauseas, and Jon's just informed me that dinner is almost ready. so enough for today. Enough. I'm outta here.
